PubMed:

  • When searching PubMed, using MeSH headings can narrow down your results to the most relevant articles. After choosing PubMed from the library's link, notice below the search box is an area titled "Explore" at the bottom right.  Click MeSH Database to search for headings you can add to a search.
  • Some useful subject headings to use:  
    • Surgery, Oral - Maxillofacial Surgery, Exodontics map to this heading.
    • Oral Surgical Procedures

UT OneSearch:

  • You can use multiple filters when searching for ebooks in the UTK OneSearch.  
  • Among these are:
