Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult challenges humans will face. Taking steps now can help during transition when emotions are sometimes overwhelming. Organizing important documents and information is a good first step. It is wise to keep copies in a locked, waterproof safe at home or a safety deposit box in a bank. Your health care agent and/or close family member should know where and how to access this information.
