Center for Women & Infants

What is on this guide?

This guide offers information on University of Tennessee's Center for Women & Infants, its services, and general information related to women & infant health. While our Health Information Center is not able to provide medical advice, we are happy to help patrons explore health topics relevant to their needs.

Maybe you or a loved one has been recently diagnosed with a condition specifically related to women and/or infant health and you're interested in learning more about the diagnosis. Maybe you or a loved one are preparing to welcome a bundle of joy into the world. Maybe you are in search of health maintenance, prevention, or therapy options for an already diagnosed condition, or maybe you're just plain curious. Whatever health information you're searching for, we are here to offer our support and research expertise. There is an overwhelming amount of health information available online, and sometimes it's hard to distinguish trustworthy sources. Let us help.

Our Health Information Center has a library collection full of health information books curated by our staff of medical librarians.
You can fill out an electronic form to check out books for free here.

We also offer free health information research requests. We can tailor our research to your specific questions and needs, and then send you the information. You can fill out a Health Information Request here.

Stop inside our Health Information Center to check out our book collection or put in a Health Information Request.
